Your self-image is programmed into your subconscious mind as part of your paradigm, i.e., a multitude of habits, which are defined as ideas that are fixed in our subconscious mind. These habits cause us to act without any conscious thought. They cause our habitual behaviors, both good and bad. They are likened to a thermostat in our homes. When you deviate from your self-image, this thermostat brings you back in line, just as a thermostat brings a room's temperature back to the desired setting. You may want to be a tiger, but your self-image as a kitten keeps you from achieving your personal and professional goals.
